The music player on the "Ears" page now updated with all the songs we're planning to have on our debut album. Wow! So yes, hopefully we'll finally have the physical disk in our hands soon :)
Some buzz also on the gig front. On 24.3. we'll play at Ravintola House in Oulu Pateniemi and a week after that at Bumerangi Jääli. Here's your chance to see us live again!

We had a very nice private gig at Niskarock in Utajärvi couple of weeks ago! Warm thank you to the event organizers, other bands and the audience. It was a night to remember!

Mindeyes parcitipated a band competition in Raahe last Saturday and won the whole damn thing! All the bands were great but the judges thought we were the best! Well, what can we say but thank you! The financial prize was nice enough but a gig at Rytmikorjaamo in Seinäjoki (the date will be announced later) came as a bonus prize :)

Year 2011 has started nicely for Mindeyes. The gig in Lentävä Lautanen was a success, the place was full of people hungry for rock'n roll and we got quite many pats on our backs after the show :) Ykä Pub happening in which we rocked together with Nitroforce 9 was not so crowded. But of course it was nice to play live again, thanks NF9 guys for inviting us to share the evening with you!

Mindeyes wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! In February we will do two gigs in Oulu - 4th Feb in Lentävä Lautanen and 17th Feb in Ykän Pub. Make sure you won't miss those events!

After a long silent period Mindeyes will perform a gig at Vihiluodon Torppa in Kempele. We will also celebrate our sister band Steamroller and it's 10th anniversary by throwing some own material we've made for Steamroller during the years as a start. There will be a special guest band as well delivering their deadly set at some point during the evening. The night will end with a full Mindeyes live performance. This show you cannot miss!

Mindeyes will be interviewed on RadioMega next Saturday in the show called "Oulu Rokkaa". Also couple of our songs will be played. So make sure you'll be on Mega's frequency on Saturday 8th May at 3 o'clock pm Finnish time! If not possible to listen to it on the radio the traditional way, you can use Mega's webradio.

Our second band Steamroller is on stage next Saturday in Kempele at Vihiluodon Torppa. Steamy rock'n roll show expected!

"Search for The Reason" from our promo CD was played yesterday on the local radio station RadioMega for the first time, hopefully it was not the last time. We've started to sent the CD to various places, let's see what happens with that. Also we hope to confirm some gigs for Mindeyes pretty soon. Our second band Steamroller will throw the first gig of the year on 3rd March by doing a private show for hard-partying engineers :)

Happy New Year everyone! Mindeyes are now starting to sell gigs with the brand new promo CD containing the songs you can listen in the "Ears" section. Also the rest of the songs for the long waited (at least by ourselves ;) full-length album are getting ready with a nice pace. More news concerning the album hopefully soon..

A week ago we had a marvellous gig at Corner's in Kokkola. Two new songs "I Need Your Love Tonight" and "Dying Day" had their premiere and the audience liked what they heard! Big thanks to everyone present that evening.

We're planning to make a promo CD of those five songs you can already listen in the "EARS" section and send it around to some companies and radio stations. Hopefully it will get interest on some level. Also we've started seeking a skilled keyboard player, if you are interested (or you know someone who could be the one) don't hesitate to contact us!

A new song "A Matter of Time" now available in the music player (the "Ears" section). Listen to it and be amazed!

Time to break the radio silence ;) Right now we're pretty much loading our batteries for the coming Mindeyes and Steamroller gigs (plenty of them at the end of summer). Also we're trying to continue mixing the rest of the songs for our full-length album, once something is ready we'll have it available as streaming version on the home page. So be patient my friends, the songs will be ready sooner or later! In the meanwhile, have a relaxing summertime and beware of burning yourself in the sun (no fear of that at the moment at least in Finland :)

During this week we had some technical problems on the homepage caused by the maintenance break of our web host provider and e.g. the songs were not playable in the music player. Now everything should be in order again. Sorry for the trouble folks (well, it wasn't really our fault, though ;)

Last Friday we had a nice small gig at Kultakala in Kalajoki. The show was stunning (as always..) but there weren't too many people around. Anyway, the stage was big enough to rock hard and the overall feeling just fine. After all, it's always nice to play live. Thanks to Mika and Nina for showing up and supporting us!

The next booked Mindeyes gig won't be before than at the end of July. However, until then there will be a handful of Steamroller gigs, the next one in two weeks time at Saarifest in Haapavesi (wow, a festival gig! ;) And if Steamroller does not ring any bells for some of you please see the Mindeyes section to enlighten yourself.

Wohoo! Mindeyes has been nicely noticed during the past five days - already more than 1200 visitors at the homepage and 139 fans in Facebook (and the counts are rapidly increasing :).
